Polytene Chromosome
Polytene chromosomes from the salivary glands of fruit fly larva (Drosophila Melanogaster) stained with lacto-acetic orcein and viewed under a light microscope at 400x.

Mouse (mus musculus) anatomy dissection
The purpose of this dissection was to observe the anatomy of the adult mouse (i.e. position and morphology of various organs), which is very similar to that of humans. The dissection was performed as part of a University module (Human and Animal Physiology) in 2009, under supervision of demonstrators and staff of the university.
